Lily Allen - The Fear
Another artist I never thought I'd feature on my site! After
listening to the lyrics on this track, I've changed my opinion
(although the video is terrible!).
Her lyrics here are spot on, as she has a dig at the way many
people in our society are just mindless consumers; only
interested in themselves and what they can get next.
It's a shame that her target audience (teenage girls) are mostly
unaware of the irony in this song.
